I love to learn new things. By that I mean learning skills rather than fact knowledge. In my opinion fact-knowledge is becoming more and more obsolete as information is so easily accessible. Bit skills (you can apply in the real world) will never become obsolete. One of the most sought after skills of the next decades will be critical thinking - this is nothing one will learn from a certificate. Hence, I agree with you on the point that there can be too much learning. If you learn solely for certificates and degrees it does not bring much value. If you are, on the other hand, learning to acquire new skills and actively apply what you've learned, you can reshape the world.
