Thank you for your insightful article. I think that the topic can be transferred to other areas as well: the first time (after starting something) we should focus on learning and on becoming that writer, that manager, that X. We just need to hang in there!

That's a tremendous point, Matthias! While the advice definitely applies to writing, there's such value in recognizing that learning, in any area, is a journey.
Perfection is a myth, but better is always possible.
